The 3AAR is a 4 member team race with the following race divisions and categories:
Competitive Division
These two divisions are for participants who are in it for more than just fun and want to push themselves to the limit. These folks might own heart rate monitors or know their body fat % or wear a lot of Dri-Fit stuff or have a watch that does more than just tell time. In this division, all racers on a team are required to complete every stage of the race.

Recreational Division (Open)
High School Division (Must be in grades 9-12)
Masters Division: All participants must be 55 or older
These three divisions are for participants who are less driven towards the blue ribbon. Recreational racers want to compete, but also have fun at the same time; finishing with a smile rather than a grimace is key for this crew. This is not a relay. In this division, teams are required to travel together to the staging area of each leg.

Race Fees and Dates:
Up to April 15, 2012: $60/person, $240/team
After April 15 til May 6, 2012: $75/person, $300/team
Highschool category (anytime): $30/person, $120/team
Cotton T-shirt: included in registration fee
Registration CLOSES May 6, 2012 (or when race maximum is reached)
Race Day: Sunday May 13, 2012 at 9:00 am

- Payment: By cheque made out to “Abbotsford Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund”. Each team must drop off their completed form, four signed/witnessed waivers and payment to any of our 3AAR sponsors in Abbotsford: Life Cycles, Valhalla Pure Outfitters , Western Canoeing & Kayaking, Peninsula Runners and Innovative Fitness OR drop off/mail all registration components to: Fire Hall #1, 32270 George Ferguson Way, Abbotsford, BC V2T 2L1.
